MARSHFIELD – Nate Beyer picked off two passes and Kyle Krizan forced an intentional grounding call in the end zone for a safety as the defense led the Marshfield JV football team to a 26-7 win over Oshkosh West on Thursday at Beell Stadium.
Drew Hanson scored on a 12-yard run, Chris Collins added a 2-yard TD run and John Hardinger hauled in a touchdown pass from Tyson Slade to propel the Tigers’ offense.
Zach McManus added a 25-yard field goal and made all three of his extra point attempts for Marshfield, which improves to 3-2.
Marshfield plays at Wisconsin Rapids at 6 p.m. on Sept. 26.
