PARK FALLS – If the Auburndale football team wants to make the WIAA playoffs, this was a game it needed to win.
The Apaches handled Chequamegon 35-21 in a Marawood Conference game Friday night, improving to 3-2 overall and in the conference. Chequamegon falls to 2-3 and 2-2 in the Marawood.
Auburndale travels to Oconto for a nonconference game next Friday before finishing up the regular season with conference games at Phillips, and at home against Pittsville and Stratford.
