MARSHFIELD – Sean McCarthy scored twice to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Phillips on Monday in nonconference action at Griese Park.
McCarthy scored in the first half on an assist by Alexandra Hutchison, and added another in the second half off a pass from Charles Payant.
Evan Hansen had seven saves in goal for the Dons, who improve to 10-4
Columbus hosts Wausau Newman Catholic in a Mid-State Soccer Conference game at 4 p.m. Thursday at Griese Park.
