The WIAA has released the brackets for the 2013 boys soccer playoffs, which begin with a few regional quarterfinals on Oct. 12, but start in earnest with regional semifinals on Oct. 15.
Regional finals are slated for Oct. 17, with sectionals set for Oct. 24 and Oct. 26.
The 2013 WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament will be held at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
Marshfield (15-3-2 through Oct. 2) earned the No. 1 seed in the bottom half of Sectional No. 1 in the Division 2 brackets and will host No. 8 Antigo in a regional semifinal on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m. With a victory, Marshfield would also host the regional final on Oct. 17 against either Shawano or Wausau East.
Marshfield is also the host school for the sectional final on Oct. 26.
Marshfield Columbus Catholic is the No.2 seed in the bottom half of the Division 4 Sectional No. 1 bracket. The Dons (10-4) will host Tri-County on Oct. 15, also at Griese Park. Columbus defeated Tri-County twice this season in Mid-State Soccer Conference play – 9-0 and 5-3.
