RIB LAKE – The Stratford football team did what it needed to do, and got a little help from rival Edgar. Next week, the Tigers will play for a share of the Marawood Conference title.
The Tigers rolled past Prentice/Rib Lake 42-0 on Friday night at Rib Lake High School to improve to 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the Marawood.
Combined with Edgar’s 29-22 win over Marathon, Stratford now has a chance to share the Marawood title.
Edgar finishes its Marawood schedule with a 7-1 record and plays a nonconference game at Neillsville. Stratford plays at Auburndale and Marathon is at Chequamegon next Friday with both looking to pull even with Edgar in the Marawood Conference standings on the season’s last night.
