WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Rebecca Voss placed 10th to pace the Marshfield girls cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Saturday at the Ridges Golf Course.
Voss finished in 16:07, 1:15 off the winning pace of Sauk Prairie’s Lianna Mack (14:52).
Marshfield totaled 145 points, edging Sauk Prairie by five points for fourth.
Stevens Point took both the boys and girls team titles.
Dani Bender was 27th (16:44) and Mckayla Scheuer was 28th (16:53) for the Tigers girls.
Max Tibbett was 40th and Devon Klement took 41st, both in 18:31, for the Marshfield boys, which placed ninth.
Tyson Miehe of Darlington won the boys race in 16:06.
Marshfield will compete at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet on Oct. 19 at the MARC in Merrill.
