STEVENS POINT – Elizabeth Holbrook took fourth in the 200 individual medley for Marshfield’s top performance at the 2013 Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Swim Meet on Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Holbrook finished fourth in 2:29.35 to help Marshfield to a sixth-place finish among the seven teams at the conference meet.
Sarah Claessens had the Tigers’ other top-five finish as she took fifth in the 100 freestyle in 58.51 seconds.
Anna Hilbelink was sixth in the 100 butterfly (1:09.10) and Walker Guzowski took seventh in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.47) for Marshfield’s other top finishes.
Sarah Kane won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke to lead Wausau East to the team title with 529.5 points. Wausau West was a distant second with 413 points.
Marshfield will compete at the WIAA Division 1 sectional on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Hudson High School beginning at 1 p.m.
