Auburndale and Marshfield Columbus Catholic are among the teams ranked in the initial WisSports.Net Boys Basketball State Coaches Poll, which was released Tuesday.
Auburndale (1-0) , last year’s WIAA Division 4 state tournament runner-up, is ranked third in Division 4 behind Whitefish Bay Dominican, the team that defeated the Apaches in the championship game last March, and Racine St. Catherine’s.
Columbus Catholic (2-0) is ranked No. 7 in Division 5.
Two-time defending state champion Germantown is No. 1 in Division 1, with Seymour in the top spot in Division 2, Lodi in Division 3 and Green Bay NEW Lutheran in Division 5.
