STEVENS POINT – Matt Brown took second in the 100 freestyle and was fourth in 50 freestyle for Marshfield’s top performances Saturday at the Stevens Point Panther Boys Swimming Invitational.
Brown was second in the 100 free in 56.82, finishing behind Willey Rosenthal of Stevens Point (52.40). Brown finished the 50 free in 25.06 to take fourth.
Marshfield finished fourth among the five teams at the meet with 63 points. Stevens Point won the team title with 221 points, winning all 11 events. Wisconsin Rapids was second with 98 points.
Two Tigers relay teams finished fourth.
The 200 medley relay team of Brian Engel, Zach Korth, Brown and Calden Wojt was fourth in 2:13.81, and the 200 free relay team of Wojt, Engel, Trevyn Tham and Brown took fourth in 1:48.39.
