MARSHFIELD – Olivia Tierney had two first, a second and third to lead the Marshfield gymnastics team to a first-place finish in a triangular meet Thursday night at Marshfield High School.
The meet was the first of the season for the Tigers.
Marshfield finished with 124.775 points, with La Crosse Logan/Central second with 120 and Chippewa Falls third with 87.675.
Tierney won the balance beam (9.15) and floor exercise (9.2), was second in the vault (8.45) and took third in the uneven bars (7.35).
Hannah Marsch won the bars with a score of 7.925, took second in the floor (8.4) and was third in the balance beam (8.05) as well for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete at the Rhinelander Invitational on Saturday.
