OCONTO – Trevor Ackman and Tim Bauer each went unbeaten to win individual titles and help lift the Spencer wrestling team to a third-place finish at the Oconto Invitational on Saturday.
Ackman went 5-0 with a pair of pins to win the 152-pound championship, and Bauer was 4-0 with three pins and a major decision to take the title at 132 pounds for Spencer.
Austin Post (126) was 4-1 with three pins, Dylan Schubert (138) was 4-1 with four pins and Zach Schneider (182) was 3-1 with two pins as each finished second for the Rockets.
Daniel Wilke (145) and Ryan Schauer (285) took third for Spencer.
Spencer begins its Cloverbelt Conference season Tuesday at Osseo-Fairchild.
