MARSHFIELD – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team jumped out to a big lead in the first half and rolled to a 74-51 victory over UW-Richland on Monday at the Marauder Gym.
The Marauders (6-5 overall, 5-3 Wisconsin Collegiate Conference) led 41-21 at halftime on their way to the win.
McKenzie Trunkel scored 33 points, making seven 3-pointers, to lead the Marauders. Taylor Lynn added 14 points and 12 assists, and Corina Craig had a team-high 13 rebounds for UW-Marshfield.
The Marauders are now off for the semester break and will return to action Jan. 15 at home against UW-Fox Valley.
