Stratford wrestlers dominate Edgar with help of seven forfeits

STRATFORD – Stratford won the final eight matches, five by forfeit, on its way to a 57-15 win over Edgar in a Marawood Conference wrestling dual match Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

Stratford won seven matches overall by forfeit and four of the seven matches that were contested.

Anthony Gliniecki had the only pin for the Tigers, taking down Kodi Chase in 2:28 at 120 pounds.

Winning decisions for Stratford were Dondrick Tackes at 195, Hunter Kauffman at 220, and Phil Sersch at 126.

Stratford will compete at the Weyauwega-Fremont Invitational on Saturday.
