STRATFORD – A 15-3 first quarter lifted the Stratford boys basketball team to a 46-25 rout of Edgar in a Marawood Conference South Division game Friday night at Stratford High School.
The Tigers won their second straight game to improve to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the Marawood South. Edgar remains winless at 0-6 and 0-4 in the conference.
Stratford pushed its lead to 24-8 by halftime and maintained the double-digit advantage in the second half.
Eli Temanson and Jake Reif each scored 11 points to pace the Tigers.
Blake Lehman had 10 of Edgar’s 25 points in the loss.
Stratford is off until next Thursday when it plays at Wausau Newman Catholic.
