Ashland edges Marshfield gymnastics in dual meet

MARSHFIELD – Olivia Tierney won the all-around but the Marshfield gymnastics team dropped a dual meet to Ashland 127.875-125.775 on Thursday night at Marshfield High School.

Tierney won the vault (8.95) and floor exercise (9.2), and was second in the balance beam (7.9) to help her accumulate 33.55 points overall for the Tigers.

Hannah Marsch tied for second in the uneven bars (7.75) and was third in the all-around for Marshfield (32.525).

The Tigers will compete at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Saturday.
