AUBURNDALE – Blake Anderson hit six 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Auburndale boys basketball team to its 10th win of the season as it defeated Nekoosa 61-43 in a nonconference matchup Monday night at Auburndale High School.
Anderson was 6 of 9 from 3-point range and made all three of his free-throw attempts to finish with 23 points. He added four assists and four rebounds in the victory as the Apaches improve to 10-1.
Zach Staats added 18 points and Matt Nikolay had seven points, five steals and four assists for the Apaches.
Owen Linzmeier scored 20 points for Nekoosa (6-7).
Auburndale plays at Prentice on Thursday.
