Edgar edges Auburndale wrestling in Marawood dual

AUBURNDALE – Wyatt Weiler and Kaleb Bolder won matches for Auburndale, but the Apaches came up just short, losing 28-25 to Edgar in a Marawood Conference wrestling dual meet on Thursday night at Auburndale High School.

Weiler defeated Connor Handrick 10-2 at 160 pounds and Bolder knocked off Wesley Dittman 6-2 at 285 for the Apaches’ two wins in non-forfeited matches.

Auburndale won three matches by forfeit and Edgar took two, with four matches left open to double forfeits. Edgar won the other three matches, two by pin.

Auburndale will compete at the Hillsboro Invitational on Saturday.
