TOMAH – Stratford made seven of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter and held off Tomah to win 39-34 in a nonconference girls basketball game Monday night at Tomah High School.
Four different Tigers canned free throws in the final quarter as Stratford pushed a one-point lead to five by the end.
Macie Frueh led Stratford with 14 points and Brooke Schultze added 13 points and nine rebounds.
The Tigers (5-6) host Marathon on Thursday.
