MARSHFIELD – Jared Fleischmann led the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team with 17 points as the Dons cruised to a 65-35 victory over Colby on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
The Dons led 21-7 after the first quarter and pushed the lead to 54-27 with a 25-point explosion in the third quarter.
Columbus Catholic improves to 11-4 overall and 9-3 in the Cloverbelt East. Colby drops to 7-8 and 5-7 in the conference.
Jacob Puent added 11 points for Columbus Catholic, which had 10 different players find the scoring column.
Columbus plays at last-place Granton on Thursday.
