STANLEY – Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal had four individual champions and went on to the team title at the 2014 Cloverbelt Conference Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Stanley-Boyd High School.
Skylar Barth (106 pounds), Mike Chadwick (145), Jake Rueth (170) and Nick Rueth (220) won individual titles for NGL.
Spencer finished sixth out of the seven teams at the tournament and had two second-place finishers.
Senior Trevor Ackman finished second at 152 pounds, losing to Tyler Henke of Osseo-Fairchild/Augusta/Altoona/Fall Creek in the championship match 5-3. Ackman is now 28-4.
Junior Zach Schneider also took second for the Rockets after losing to Cody Meyer of Abbotsford/Colby 14-4 in the 182-pound championship match. He is now 25-12.
Daniel Wilke (138), Tim Bauer (145) and Max Johnson (220) each took third for Spencer.
Spencer will compete in the WIAA Division 3 regional on Feb. 15 at Edgar.
