SPENCER – Augusta made six 3-pointers and held on to beat Spencer 44-37 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball matchup Saturday afternoon at Spencer High School.
Dani Nelson scored 18 points and Kayla Erdman hit three 3-pointers for the Beavers, who improve to 11-7 and 8-7 in the Cloverbelt East.
Augusta outscored the Rockets by one basket in each of the first three quarters to pull ahead.
Sydney Kind had 11 points for Spencer (5-13, 3-12 Cloverbelt East).
