ASHWAUBENON – Ellie Fehrenbach had 18 points and Marshfield was 20 of 29 from the free throw line in posting a 43-34 win over Ashwaubenon in a nonconference girls basketball game Saturday at Ashwaubenon High School.
The Tigers won their seventh straight game to improve to 13-7 this season. Ashwaubenon falls to 5-13.
Fehrenbach made 5 of 8 shots from the field and was 8 of 13 on free throws for the Tigers. Caitlin Michaelis hit Marshfield’s only 3-pointer and added nine points.
Marshfield held a 20-8 advantage on free throws and a 20-14 edge in rebounding.
Marshfield is off until Friday when it hosts Merrill. The game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.
