MENOMONIE – Spencer High School graduate Kyleigh Hebert has started all 24 games this season for the University of Wisconsin-Stout women’s basketball team.
Hebert, a 2012 graduate of Spencer, leads Stout with 50 assists and is second on the team in scoring at 10.5 points a game, and in steals with 48.
Hebert, a sophomore, scored 17 points and had four steals in the Blue Devils’ 89-72 win over UW-La Crosse on Wednesday. She made 7 of 10 shots from the field.
UW-Stout is 10-14 overall and 6-9 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Blue Devils finish their regular-season and WIAC schedule on Saturday at home against UW-Stevens Point.
Stout will compete in the WIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament beginning Tuesday.
