STRATFORD – The Stratford girls basketball team finished its Marawood Conference South Division home schedule with a resounding 54-20 win over Northland Lutheran on Monday night at Stratford High School.
Stratford led 25-7 at halftime after a 17-3 explosion in the second quarter.
Brooke Schultze had 16 points, eight rebounds and five steals for the Tigers, who improve to 9-11 and 5-8 in the Marawood South.
Savannah Schillinger added 14 points and seven steals for Stratford. The Tigers had 25 steals in the game.
Stratford finishes its Marawood South season Tuesday at Pittsville. The Tigers just defeated Pittsville by 23 points last Tuesday.
The Tigers will play in a Marawood North-South crossover game on Thursday and will host Spencer in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on March 4.
