WAUSAU – Jacob Dorshorst finished third in the 55-meter hurdles to account for all of Auburndale’s six team points Friday at the Wausau West Warriors Boys Indoor Track Invitational.
Dorshorst finished in a time of 8.90 seconds to take third behind two Wisconsin Valley Conference runners – Brock Garver of Wausau West and Grant Olson of Rhinelander.
Dorshorst also finished ninth in the 200 hurdles with a time of 30.79.
David Haas had the Apaches’ only other top-10 finish, taking 10th in the 1,600 meters with a time of 5:18.39. Auburndale teammate Jared Snortheim was 11th in 5:27.48.
Auburndale will be back in action Monday at the Pittsville Invitational.
