MEDFORD – The Marshfield softball team rallied from a two-run deficit to beat Medford 11-8 in 8 innings on Friday in a nonconference game at Medford High School.
The Tigers scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game and Lexi Dupee ripped a three-run home run in the eighth to win it and improve to 3-3 this season.
Katie Treankler was 3-for-5, Dupee finished 2-for-3, and Autumn Slowiak and Jessi Lyon each had two hits for Marshfield.
Miranda Baierl earned the win with 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. She struck out two and walked two.
Marshfield plays at Mosinee on Monday.
