EDGAR – Edgar broke open a tie game with three runs in the fourth inning and defeated Auburndale 6-4 in a Marawood Conference South Division softball game Friday at Edgar High School.
Jenna Ertl had two of Auburndale’s three hits, and Kaeden Dvorak and Mickey Terry had RBIs for the Apaches, who fall to 0-6 and 0-4 in the Marawood South. Edgar is now 1-3 overall and in the conference.
Ertl took the loss for Auburndale, allowing six walks and four runs in the three innings.
Edgar had just two hits in the victory.
