PRENTICE – Spencer scored multiple runs in each of the five innings and rolled past Prentice 16-4 in a nonconference softball game Thursday.
The Rockets scored three runs in the top of the first to get things rolling and led 10-1 after 2½ innings on the way to the rout.
Brooke Kettleborough and Marisa Johnson each had three hits, and Macie Weber had a home run and four RBIs for Spencer, which improves to 7-2.
Tynae Phillips, Johnson and Ellayna Lyon combined to pitch the five innings for Spencer, scattering five hits.
The Rockets host Owen-Withee for a Cloverbelt East doubleheader on Thursday starting at 4 p.m.
