WESTON – The Marshfield boys tennis team evened its Wisconsin Valley Conference record at 1-1 with a 5-2 win over D.C. Everest in a dual meet Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.
Marshfield won three singles matches and a pair of doubles matches to grab the win.
Hunter Schultz (No. 1), John Weisenberger (No. 3) and Matt McCann (No. 4) each won singles matches in straight sets for the Tigers.
Marshfield’s No. 1 doubles team of Bryce Gadke and Jacob Limmex, and the No. 3 team of Sam Trudeau and Dylan Handrich also won in straight sets.
Marshfield hosts Wausau West on Thursday.
