Spencer baseball continues hot streak with rout of Loyal

LOYAL – The Spencer baseball team continued its hot offensive play of late as it routed Loyal 15-5 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday at Loyal High School.

Mitchell Susa went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for the Rockets, who are now 10-1 overall and 9-1 in the Cloverbelt East.

Bobby Pilz earned the win and had two hits for the Rockets.

Alex Brostowitz and Matt Ivacic also had two hits each for Spencer, and Joe Meyers and Brostowitz each drove in three runs.

The Rockets play at first-place Neillsville on Tuesday.
