MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team won for the third time in the last four games, whipping Owen-Withee 11-3 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Friday at Jack Hackman Field.
The Dons scored five runs in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth to pull away and improve to 3-5 overall and in the Cloverbelt East. Owen-Withee also is 3-5 overall and in the conference after the loss.
Kienan McIntee pitched five innings to earn the win and added a double. Matthias Gouin and Jeremy Binder each had two hits for the Dons.
Columbus plays a doubleheader at Gilman on Monday.
