Columbus Catholic baseball grabs road win at Augusta

AUGUSTA – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team scored six runs in the first three games and held on for a 9-4 win over Augusta in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Tuesday.

The Dons scored four runs in the second inning and added three in the fifth to go up 9-2.

Kienan McIntee had 13 strikeouts in five innings to earn the win for the Dons (4-5 overall and Cloverbelt East).

Tyler Fuerlinger and Billy Young each had two hits in the win for Columbus.

Columbus hosts Loyal on Thursday.
