MERRILL – Darian Molter scored four goals and Marshfield held Merrill to just two shots on goal in a 6-0 rout of the Bluejays in Wisconsin Valley Conference girls soccer action Tuesday.

Charlotte Urban, Walker Guzowski and Lauren Seehafter assisted on three of Molter’s goals, and Seehafer and Guzowski added goals of their own for the Tigers (6-3-1, 4-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

“The defense played another nice game overall and in the last two games only gave up seven shots and one goal. They have stepped up,” Marshfield coach Steve Lindner said. “We will see how the girls can compose themselves vs the conference leaders Thursday at Marshfield against D.C. Everest. That will be huge to start the push towards the playoffs.”

Thursday’s game against Everest begins at 5 p.m. at Griese Park.
