AUBURNDALE – Auburndale scored in all six innings and routed Northland Lutheran 19-9 in a Marawood Conference South Division softball game Thursday at Auburndale High School.
Sydney Schmutzer went 3-for-5 and scored three times, and seven different Apaches had RBIs in the victory.
Katie Lundgren and Jenna Ertl each had two hits for Auburndale (2-15, 2-8 Marawood South).
Heidi Gehrke earned the win for the Apaches, striking out six and walking seven in six innings.
Auburndale hosts a tournament Saturday.
