Auburndale baseball routs Wausau Newman Catholic

AUBURNDALE – Wyatt Weiler was 3-for-3 and scored three times to lead the Auburndale baseball team to a 12-2 win over Wausau Newman Catholic in a Marawood Conference South Division game Friday at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale scored three runs in the first inning and exploded with a seven-run fourth to pull away and win the game in five innings via the 10-run rule.

Kaleb Bolder added two hits and Blake Anderson had two RBIs and also was the winning pitcher, allowing four hits and two runs in four innings.

Auburndale hosts Loyal on Saturday.
