Spencer baseball shuts out Gilman

GILMAN – Spencer broke open a close game with a seven-run fourth inning and went on to a 12-0 win over Gilman in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Friday.

Calvin Lenz allowed just two hits in three innings to earn the win and had two hits and scored three times for the Rockets.

Bobby Pilz and Matt Ivacic each added two hits for Spencer (12-2, 11-2 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer plays at Rib Lake on Monday and at Granton on Tuesday.
