Marshfield boys tennis wins one match, loses to Wausau East

MARSHFIELD – Hunter Schultz won at No. 1 singles for Marshfield’s lone victory in a 6-1 loss to Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys tennis dual match Friday at Boson Courts.

Schultz defeated Matt LaViolette 6-2, 6-2, for the Tigers (2-3 WVC).

Wausau East (4-1 WVC) won the other six matches in straight sets.

Marshfield will compete at the Tomah Quad on Saturday.
