AMERY – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic seventh grade volleyball team went undefeated Saturday to win the Wisconsin Independent Volleyball Tournament championship.

The Dons, seeded ninth in the 48-team tournament, defeated No. 24 New Richmond, No. 41 Chippewa Falls White, No. 8 Chippewa Falls Red, No. 1 Ashland, No. 5 Holmen and No. 3 Rice Lake, all 2-0 in the best-of-three matches.

The team is coach by Columbus Catholic High School varsity volleyball coach Kat Egle.
