WESTON – The Marshfield Clinic Post 54 Blue Devils American Legion baseball team rolled past Rothschild-Schofield-Weston 14-3 in a Wisconsin Valley Legion League game Thursday at D.C. Everest High School.
Jack Donahue threw a complete game to earn the win for the Blue Devils (2-3).
Caleb Alexander jacked a three-run home run, Mitch Susa had two triples and Logan Johnson had a double and a triple for Marshfield.
Marshfield will compete in the Wisconsin Rapids Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Witter Field. The Blue Devils play Green Bay Southwest and Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday, and Sunday’s opponent will be determined by Saturday’s action. Marshfield is back home Monday against Wausau.
