MARSHFIELD – The 21st annual Marshfield Cross Country Alumni Intersquad Meet was held Saturday at Weber Park.
The Alumni men edged the Marshfield boys team 27-28, while the current Marshfield girls beat the Alumni women 15-50.
Alumni runner Jake Engel won the men’s race in 11:17, defeating current Tigers runner Devon Klement (11:39) and Alumni runner Cole Irish (11:53).
Current Marshfield girls runners swept the top 10 spots in the women’s race, led by Dani Bender (13:59), McKayla Scheuer (14:09) and Madie Koehn (14:22). Alexis Dzikowich was the top Alumni runner, taking 11th in 15:51.
The Marshfield runners led the Alumni 11-10 in all-time men’s races, while the Marshfield girls beat the Alumni women for the 21st straight year.
