CHIPPEWA FALLS – The Marshfield girls golf team had three top-10 individual finishes and ended up fifth out of 11 teams at the Chippewa Falls Invitational on Thursday at Lake Wissota Golf Club.
Molly Field had Marshfield’s top finish, shooting an 88 to tie for fourth. Ana Jensen tied for sixth with an 89 and Jordyn Fitzgerald finished in a five-way tie for 10th with a 92 for the Tigers.
Marshfield had a team score of 396 to take fifth. Eau Claire Memorial won the team title with a 371, seven shots better than River Falls.
Marshfield is off until next Thursday, Sept. 4, when it plays in a Clover Valley Golf League event at Osseo-Fairchild.
