EAU CLAIRE – The Marshfield boys tennis team swept its three matches Saturday at the Eau Claire North Invitational.
The Tigers beat Chippewa Falls 7-0, River Falls 5-2 and Superior 6-1 to finish a perfect 3-0 and improve to 4-0 on the season.
Nick Ackerman at No. 1 singles, freshman Jason Stone at No. 3 singles, No. 4 singles player Jacob Twandowski, the No. 2 doubles team of Alex Jensen and Sean Kaiser, and the No. 3 doubles team of Dan Bargander and Carter Havican had perfect 3-0 records during the tournament for Marshfield.
Marshfield has a pair of meets on the road next week – at Chippewa Falls on Tuesday and at Wisconsin Rapids in its Wisconsin Valley Conference opener on Thursday.
