FOND DU LAC – Alex Sainterme scored 2:27 into the game and Marshfield added two more first-half goals on its way to a 4-2 win over Kettle Moraine Lutheran in the opening game of the Fond du Lac Challenge Cup on Friday at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex.
Jake Limmex and Luke McCann added goals before halftime, and the Tigers finished off the win when they scored on a Kettle Moraine Lutheran own goal late.
Marshfield (4-3-1) plays Fond du Lac and Appleton Xavier on Saturday.
