ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Rebecca Voss, a 2014 graduate of Marshfield High School, made her collegiate debut a successful one as a member of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s cross country team.
Voss finished 14th overall and third on the Phoenix team at the University of Illinois-Chicago Invitational on Aug. 30.
Voss finished the 4.08-kilometer course in 16:57.1 to finish third on the UWGB team behind Sarah Mauel (16:40.5) and Breanna Suess (16:42.1), who took 10th and 11th, respectively.
Tess Ehrhardt of UIC won the race in a time of 15:45.5.
UWGB was 1-2 in the triple dual format, beating Chicago State and losing to UW-Milwaukee and UIC.
Voss and the Phoenix will compete at the UW-Parkside Invitational on Saturday.
