Marshfield girls golf fourth at second Clover Valley meet

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield girls golf team finished fourth at the second meet of the Clover Valley Golf League season on Tuesday at the Ridges Golf Course.

Marshfield had a score of 199, finishing behind Eau Claire Regis (185), Stevens Point (191) and Osseo-Fairchild (194).

Mary McDonald of Stevens Point was meet medalist with a 39, finishing three shots ahead of Hannah Otteveare of Eau Claire Regis and Amanda Pederson of Osseo-Fairchild.

Marshfield’s Ana Jensen was seventh with a 47 and teammate Molly Field tied for eighth with a 48 to move into a tie for third in the overall standings with Otteveare.

Jordyn Fitzgerald had a 51 and Patty Jo Bloczynski had a 53 to round out the top four scorers for the Tigers.

Marshfield will compete at the Sparta Invitational on Saturday. The third leg of the Clover Valley tournament is next Tuesday at Stevens Point Country Club.
