MARSHFIELD – Jennifer Reigel had 11 kills and Sierra Litwatis led the defense with 20 digs but the Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team dropped a match 3-0 to Colby on Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
Colby won 25-18, 25-21, 25-20, in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener for both teams.
Natalie Poshyhalla led the Dons with six kills, Kendra Baierl added five and Abby Baierl had four. Kendra Baierl also added three blocks.
Columbus Catholic will compete at the Auburndale Invitational on Saturday and return to Cloverbelt action Tuesday at Neillsville.
The Columbus JV won 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.
