STEVENS POINT – The Auburndale cross country team competed at the Stevens Point Invitational on Saturday at Standing Rock Park.
The Apaches boys finished 15th out of 17 complete teams with 445 points, while the girls had only four runners and did not have a team finish.
Kali Karl led the Auburndale girls, taking 55th in 22:44.
Auburndale’s top boy runner was Cody Gehrke, who finished 72nd with a time of 19:20.
Stevens Point won both the boys and girls team titles.
Auburndale’s next meet is the Smiley Invitational in Wausau on Sept. 20.
