WISCONSIN DELLS – The Marshfield boys golf team shot scores of 337 and 340 during the two-day Wisconsin Dells 9th Annual Early Bird Golf Tournament on Friday at Saturday.
The Tigers shot a 337 on Friday at Christmas Mountain Golf Course, finishing 11th out of 18 Division 1 teams at the 37-team tournament.
Mike Field shot an 82, Michael Josephson had an 83, and Pat Hayes and Jake Plank fired 86s for Marshfield.
On Saturday at Trappers Turn, Josephson led Marshfield with an 83. Chris Stemen shot an 84, Plank had an 86 and Field had an 87 to round out the Tigers’ scoring.
The Marshfield JV team participated in the Wisconsin Dells JV Tournament at Cold Water Canyon Golf Course.
Brandon Brown shot 78 each day to lead the Tigers to team scores of 337 and 342.
Ade Dillon had rounds of 85 and 87 and Gunnar Ovaska had an 86 and an 87. Brian Ott had an 88 on Friday and Benji Streckert shot a 90 on Saturday.
The varsity team will be on the road for a pair of meets this week – at D.C. Everest on Tuesday and at the Sparta Invitational on Saturday.
