WAUSAU – Marshfield won three events and four others finished second in a 115-55 loss to Wausau West in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls swim dual meet Thursday at West High School.
Sarah Claessens won the 200 freestyle (2:12.09), Valerie Kushnir took first in the 100 butterfly (1:13.47) and Sophie Koehn won the 100 backstroke (1:08.42) for the Tigers.
Elizabeth Holbrook was second in the 200 IM (2:31.16) and the 100 breastroke (1:17.36), Claessens was second in the 500 freestyle (6:05.29), and Koehn was second in the 50 free (27.99) for Marshfield.
Marshfield’s next meet is Tuesday at home against Stevens Point starting at 5:30 p.m. It is the final WVC dual meet of the season for the Tigers (1-4 WVC).
