MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team dropped its regular-season finale Friday, losing 2-0 to Gresham/Bowler in a nonconference match at Griese Park.

Columbus outshot G/B 10-8 and held an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks, but couldn’t manage a score.

Evan Hansen had six saves in goal for the Dons, who finish the regular season with a 12-4-3 record.

Columbus Catholic opens WIAA postseason play Tuesday against Wisconsin Valley Lutheran in a Division 4 regional semifinal. The game begins at 4:30 p.m. at Griese Park.
